Social media accounts and pages published a video clip<\/a> that they said was of a special crew making preparations in Rafah to publish the scenes of the dead, claiming that Gaza is \u201cjust a big theater,\u201d in the context of a campaign to cast doubt<\/a> on the suffering of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as a result of the war that has been on going for about 7 months.<\/p>\n

The Palestinian Observatory “Tahaqaq” tracked the authenticity of the circulating video by searching open sources through the Google search engine, and it turned out that the circulating scene was from the scenes filming the second episode of the series \u201cNazef Alturab\u201d by Palestinian director Bashar al-Najjar, which was shown during the last month of Ramadan on the Al-Arabi 2<\/a> channel.<\/p>\n

The Observatory team also contacted the actor who appeared in the circulating clip, Samer Mahroum, who explained to \u201cVerified\u201d that the scene is a drama behind the scenes of the Palestinian series, and was acted in Nablus and not in Gaza as the claim stated. He added, saying: \u201cThe scene embodies events from the Palestinian reality in The West Bank under the presence of the Israeli occupation, and the scene simulates the liquidation of two Palestinian fighters by the occupation forces after besieging them in the cemetery by bombing them with missiles.<\/p>\n

The story<\/a> of the series tells the story of the escape of four Palestinian prisoners from an Israeli prison, the occupation\u2019s pursuit of them, and the solidarity of the villagers to protect and defend them.
