The citizen (H.M) was killed due to his collaboration with the Israeli occupation, not because of his black color.

The claim
H.M, one of the prisoners released by Israel, was publicly executed yesterday by Hamas. He was accused of being a spy. In reality, he was killed for being black. Anti-blackness is a huge problem in Palestine and the Arab world.

The account (realmaalouf) on the X, which is a pro-Israel account, published news claiming that H.M, one of the prisoners released by Israel, was publicly executed yesterday by Hamas. He was accused of being a spy. In reality, he was killed for being black. Anti-blackness is a huge problem in Palestine and the Arab world. This news received a significant response from users and followers on the platform.

The Palestinian Observatory “Tahaqaq” questioned the validity of the claim and, through research in public sources, it was found that the mentioned individual was not killed because of his black skin, but rather for his collaboration with the Israeli occupation.
Details indicate that he was executed along with another collaborator in Tulkarm refugee camp on November 25th. This was in connection with their involvement in an assassination operation carried out by a special force of the Israeli occupation army in the city on the 6th of the same month, resulting in the killing of four Palestinian fighters: Moumin Saeed Balaawi, Az-Zadeen Raed Awad, Jihad Muharaj Shahada, and Qassem Mohammed Rajab.
The confessions of the collaborator were published through a channel called “Resistance Security App” on the Telegram application on November 11th. In these confessions, he revealed his cooperation with the occupation, disclosing the tasks assigned to him by the Israeli intelligence. He mentioned that his first tasks were between 2016-2017, and subsequently, he was assigned by another officer named “Ismael” to monitor a group of wanted resistance fighters, including the martyrs Az-Zadeen Awad and Jihad Shahada, and gather information about their whereabouts and the locations of planted explosives.
The channel attached the collaborator’s confessions with videos from surveillance cameras, which actually documented his monitoring of a house in Tulkarm refugee camp.
This was confirmed by journalist Sami As-Sa’ee, who said to us: “(H.M) wasn’t executed because he was a liberated prisoner or because of his black skin, but because he was associated with and collaborated with the occupation. We saw and heard his confessions, as well as a portion of the surveillance camera videos during his missions to monitor the Palestinian fighters. All of this visual material was published on social media platforms.”

The family of the collaborator (H.M) issued a statement disassociating themselves from him after his confessions were documented, along with evidence proving his involvement with the Israeli occupation.

The result
H.M. was executed by the Palestinian fighters in Tulkarm after confessing to collaborating and spying for the occupation and assisting in the assassination of four resistance fighters in Tulkarm on 6/11/2023.
